Compassionate Hands Community Initiative (CHCI) is a Community-based Organisation founded in 2020 in Kilgoris, Narok County, Kenya. Rooted in Christian values and teachings, CHCI is committed to serving the most vulnerable members of our community. We are inspired by the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, and our organization operates on the biblical mandate to care for widows, orphans, and the poor. CHCI was established by a group of dedicated individuals who recognized the struggles faced by elderly widows, orphans, vulnerable children, and unemployed youth in rural communities. Our mission is to bring hope, support, and empowerment to these groups through sustainable, comprehensive programs aimed at improving their lives.

Dan is a God fearing, compassionate and highly motivated Pastor. Boasting of a robust knowledge in Theology and community integration. A man of integrity who is able to influence without dominating. He posses personal strength which enables him to give support to others while remaining resilient to self. Dan has over 15 years of experience in shepherding and working with the community to bring solutions to the vulnerable and less fortunate people in partnership with locally based and national non-governmental organization. Dan gets his fulfillment and lifes purpose in serving the most vulnerable members of the society. He is inspired by the love and compassion of Jesus Christ and on the biblical mandate to care for widows, orphans and the poor. This desire enabled Dan to found Compassionate Hand, community initiative an organization dedicated to bring hope, support and empowerment to elderly widows, orphans, vulnerable children and unemployed youths in rural communities. Dan graduated with a Degree in Theology.

He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) from Multimedia University of Kenya. Proven track record in preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, ensuring tax compliance, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.
Mr. Emmanuel has a vast experience area of strategy, project management, policy development and change. He is a dedicated Public Health professional with over 8 years’ experience implementing community-based health programs, disease surveillance, and social behavior change communication (SBCC) in rural and underserved communities. Proven expertise in social work and community development he has a vast knowledge on mobilization, health promotion, and IEC/BCC strategies to strengthen malaria, maternal and child health, HIV, and NCD interventions. Skilled in training mobilizers, supervising CHPs, coordinating with County/Sub-County MoH officials, and delivering accurate reporting. Dedicated Public Health professional with over 5 years of experience implementing community-based health programs, disease surveillance, and data-driven interventions in rural and underserved communities. Passionate about people-centered, community- driven health solutions that improve access to essential services and align with national and local priorities.
Valdry is a dynamic and passionate Program Manager with extensive experience in youth programming, specializing in gender issues including HIV/AIDS awareness, mental health advocacy, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender-based violence (GBV). With a proven track record of leading impactful projects, Valdry has worked with diverse communities to create safe spaces, foster dialogue, and implement programs aimed at improving the well-being of the less fortunate members of the society. Known for her strategic leadership, she also excels in stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation of programs, ensuring sustainable, long-lasting change. She holds a B.Ed Arts (English and Literature), has a professional certification in PMP, Budget management and strategic design
